WELCOME TO ‘THE OM RIDE’

My nephew Om Moses Gandhi would love to be here with us in person for this special event. I believe he is with us in spirit.

Om’s life was taken on Mother’s Day weekend 2023. He didn’t do anything wrong. He was 16 years old, just about to turn 17 when his attacker took his life.

He and his younger sister lived through a never-ending fight for their safety and freedom, living with a dangerous parent. They deserved a happy, safe childhood.

Om’s name literally means “peace”, and he lived up to his name. He was open and loving to all and excluded none. He died a hero, protecting his mother and sister.

At POWERHOUSS, we believe everyone deserves to feel the power of peace in their home. Peace is the source of happiness and safety, and we want to spread peace.

Help us raise money for those who survive and stand in need of safety, shelter, and the necessities of life… Because we have been given much, we too must give.

All rider fees and donations will benefit charities supporting children and families in need of safe shelter.

finish line party!

Om always LOVED family parties… so at the finish line party, you are part of our family.

Om also LOVED our family trips to Santa Cruz, California where we would camp by the beach and play for a week on the sand. Since we’re landlocked in Utah, the coast of the Great Salt Lake is our substitute for Santa Cruz.

Enjoy food, drinks, sparklers, live music, and campfires with us at the edge of the water.

We’ll have a brief ceremony, followed by an evening hangout. Be aware - park hours end at 10 pm unless you’re camping overnight.

Overnight camping is allowed, but not included. Please make your own accommodations if you would like to stay overnight.
